Lane has been working with EssayEdge clients since 2007, and in that time he has helped applicants attain admission and scholarships to Ivy League institutions, community colleges, medical residencies, internships, and almost everything in between. Along the way, he has been privileged to share his clients dreams and marvel at their experiences, from helping to usher in the lay-judge system in Japan to laying the foundations for civil administration in Iraq, navigating nuclear submarines, exploring the feasibility of windpower in Saudi Arabia, and reconceptualizing international relations in Southeast Asia. Trained as a classicist at Columbia University and in social thought at Deep Springs College, Lane now runs an independent printshop in Brooklyn and spends most summers as a trail guide and mule packer in the wilderness of the Sierra Nevada mountains near Yosemite National Park.
