Step 1: Questionnaire

Whether you have a rough draft or do not know where to start, after you have placed your platinum order you will have access to the EssayEdge questionnaire which will ask you directed, focused questions that will provide your editor with helpful background information.

Step 2: Brainstorming

After reviewing your questionnaire (and rough draft if you have one), your editor will schedule a time for a phone interview. Using the questionnaire as a starting point, your editor will ask you further questions about your background and goals, brainstorm content ideas, and offer suggestions for improving your essay’s overall effectiveness.

Step 3: Email opinion

Based on the questionnaire and the phone interview, your editor will email you a basic outline to serve as your guide while you develop your essay. EssayEdge editors do not write model essays for clients. Instead, our dedicated and experienced editors know how to sift through the ideas discussed in your phone interview, find the best ones, and offer suggestions in a structured, constructive manner.

Step 4: Email interaction

Over the following 7 days, you have unlimited email interaction with your editor. Ask questions as you create content and add details. Editors respond to emails within 24 hours.

Step 5: Submit draft

Step 6: Essay returned

Within 48 hours of when you submit your essay to your editor, you will receive an email containing a link to the EssayEdge customer control panel, where you can download your revised essay and detailed critique.

Step 7: Phone and email

After receiving your revised essay, you have another 7 days of unlimited email interaction and can schedule a second 30-45 minute phone call to ask questions and get feedback on the changes that you are making as you further refine your essay.

Step 8: Final polish

Email your fully revised essay to your editor for a final polish that includes a thorough proofreading for grammar, usage, spelling, and punctuation. Please note that your revised draft should fall into the same word count range that you selected when you created your order.

Step 9: Ask questions

Your editor will clarify any questions you may have about the final polish edit.
